Big Bigeye

By Scott Lenox

Big Bigeye

There wasn’t much going on today unfortunately.  Lots of wind made the bay super sloppy this afternoon and the ocean was probably way worse.

I mentioned in last night’s report the 203 pound bigeye caught on board the Boss Hogg out of Sunset Marina, but at the time I didn’t have the picture.  It was such an impressive fish that I definitely wanted you to get a look at it.  The big bigeye was so big that the rod actually broke late in the fight and they were fortunate to get to the leader.  They also had seven nice yellowfin tuna and some gaffer mahi.
