Tough Weather

Tough Weather

The weather today in Ocean City was nasty to say the least.

With the inshore forecast looking like North 15-20 with 3′-5′ seas, most boats stayed fast to the dock.  Some guys did venture out and scrap a few keeper tog together on the inshore wrecks and a few others stayed in the bay for the shad and rockfish bite, but by mid day the rain set in and that was that.

The good news is that the fish will still be there after the front and it shouldn’t effect the bluefish, shad and rockfish….and if the water stays clean after the runoff from the rivers, the flounder fishing will be just fine as well.

Be careful if you’re traveling for the Memorial Day holiday.  We’ll be bringing you updates from the Ocean City Marlin Club’s Memorial Day Tournament this Saturday and Sunday.
