OCEANIC PIER
Located in downtown Ocean City on the corner
of the bay and Ocean City inlet, the Oceanic Pier
is a fantastic place to fish from shore in Ocean
City. The Oceanic Pier is a privately owned pier
so there is a reasonable fee to fish, but there is
no fishing license required so it is well worth it.
The same fish that can be caught at the Route 50
bridge can be caught at the Oceanic Pier at very
similar times during the year. They have a small
bait and tackle shop with all the gear you need
along with drinks, snacks and a bathroom. Hours
vary during the offseason, but in season the pier
is open 24 hours. What and How: Striped bass,
