Ocean City offers a variety of tuna species, with the most common being bluefin, yellowfin,

and bigeye tuna. Each species has its peak season, which dictates the best times for fishing.
Bluefin tuna are typically caught from late spring to early summer, with their season peaking in
June and July. Yellowfin tuna are more abundant from late spring through the summer, making
them a popular target from May to October. Bigeye tuna, known for their size and strength,

are usually found from late summer into early fall, particularly from August to October.
