The 13th Annual HUK Big Fish Classic is officially in the books and it was an exciting weekend of fishing. Marlin fishing was very good, bluefin tuna fishing was awesome and there were some nice fish weighed over the past three nights. None was bigger than the bigeye tuna we saw first thing tonight from the crew of MJ’s who lapped the competition with a big 187 pound bigeye. Congratulations to the tournament team and all of the winners of the 2026 HUK Big Fish Classic!!

Away from the tournament inshore fishing was good with lots of fish caught for some anglers. Captain Tony Bautista of Saltwater adventures had a nice day with two keeper Flounder and some striper releases.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break charters found a couple of trout for his crew on today’s trip.
Anglers fishing with Chasin’ Tides charters have had some serious fishing over the past several days with flounder, rockfish, bluefish, sheepshead and more.
Brayden Lau of Carlisle, PA was fishing with Svend Sheppard aboard his 9 3/4 when he caught this 18” keeper flounder by the Route 50 bridge on a Deadly Double.
Liam Winston caught and released this 49.5” red drum fishing over on the Chesapeake Bay.
