The 42nd Annual White Marlin Open is in the books and it was an awesome week! When we had a white marlin waiting at the scales at 4PM sharp on Monday we knew that it was going to be a good week. Today was a CrAZy day on the scales as we saw tuna get weighed that jumped into 2nd place and a ton of money, but just moments later was bumped to 3rd place by a new 1st place tuna that cashed almost $400,000. We saw another qualifying white marlin that swiped almost a Million dollars from the first place blue marlin and we had a boat report in that they were hooked into a big blue marlin and were hoping to make the scales. The reported blue marlin was never boated, and at the time the scales closed at 9:15 the boat was still fighting the fish and was just hoping for the release. It was a crazy week at Harbour Island. Here are all of the winners with the approximate payouts that they will receive.
