It looks like its going to blow and be REELY cold on Thanksgiving this year, but we’ve had some pretty awesome fishing the past few days in the nice weather. The long Thanksgiving weekend is always a popular time to fish if the weather cooperates and there are plenty of fish to catch both inshore and offshore right now so lets hope it does.
Captain Anthony Matarese and the crew of Reel Chaos have had a couple of reely good days of fishing this weekend. On Sunday’s trip eight swordfish hit the deck out of 13 bites and yesterday they added another four swordfish and a nice big eye.
Brian Roberts of the HUK Big Fish Classic is on a family vacation for Thanksgiving and that makes for a perfect time to do some fishing. Brian’s young son Kellan found three black drum this morning while fishing Fishbites® and this red drum that ate a shrimp bait.
