Now that the 28th Annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament is in the books the Fish in OC fleet is back to regular charter fishing. When you’re trying to make a living at fishing, there’s no time to waste so boats like 2nd place heaviest fish winner Rhonda’s Osprey were right back at it again today.
Rhonda’s Osprey with Captain Joe Drosey out of Sunset Marina had a great day for the Hanshaw family! Bruce Hanshaw had a white marlin release, a tuna and a wahoo and little Randy caught a tuna and two mahi.
The Boss Hogg also out of Sunset Marina had a great day deep dropping and trolling at the Rockpile. The Hogg had 20 sea bass, 35 tilefish and 16 mahi.
Captain Rob Skillman on board the Moore Bills out of the Ocean City Fishing Center reported a nice day of fishing. Captain Rob captured three nice yellowfin, broke off a nice bigeye, had a white marlin bite, had a few other bait explosions and released another 30 small yellowfin….all before 11 AM.
Inshore, Captain John Prather on the Ocean City Guide Service out of The Ocean City Fishing Center had two great trips today, both of them completely different. First up was an awesome morning trip of bow fishing rays…
And then a great afternoon trip at an inshore wreck with five nice keeper flounder, one of which was a beautiful 22″, 4.8 pounder!
