Lighting Up the Bridge in The Wind

Lighting Up the Bridge in The Wind

Man has it been windy!!  This week has been and will continue to be a total wash for the ocean.  Thankfully we were spared the rain today, but it was howling out of the northeast once again.  The wind doesn’t look to let up until after the weekend, but if the fish bite like they have been the past few days we’re going to be just fine.

My route 50 bridge buddies have been absolutely lighting it up the past couple of days despite the very, very windy conditions.  Morgan, Shaun and Willie have seen some insane fishing up there with big stripers, a very nice red drum and even a sheepshead on swim baits.  Most of the rockfish are 29″ to 34″ fish with a few slot keepers in there, the red drum was over slot at 32″ and was released and the sheepshead was a nice 20″ fish.  Some of the fish have been caught on Rumble fish paddle tails.

The weather is good for some hot crab dip!!  Check it out and subscribe!
