Sheep and Tog at the Jetty, Flounder, Rock and Blues at the Bridge

Sheep and Tog at the Jetty, Flounder, Rock and Blues at the Bridge

The wind finally let up for a while today and the boats and fishermen came out of the woodwork!  It was a pretty beautiful day with light winds, sunny skies and warm temps, and with the fish biting well inshore it was a busy day on the water.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters had another awesome day in the OC Inlet today.  His anglers ended up with a pile of spot, croakers and blowfish, keeper tautog and sheepshead up to 8.5 pounds.

Rich Daiker fished the route 50 bridge with live bunker today and had a great catch with his limit of four flounder up to 20″.

Big Bird Cropper had a nice day at the route 50 bride today too.  Casting Roy Rigs he ended up with some stripers and some very nice chopper bluefish.

Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures also had a good day at the route 50 bridge fishing with his Uncle Bob.  The guys caught some nice bluefish on artificial lures.

Captain Tony will also be running some water taxi service during Ocean’s Calling and Country Calling if you need a lift.  Check out his flyer and get in touch below.
