It was a beautiful day today for the 4th of July and there were tons of people out on land and on the water. The weather could not have been much better and there was some good fishing on top of it.
Captain Dale Lisi of Foolish Pleasures has had great trips the last two days putting a bunch of tuna on the dock for his customers. Yesterday Captain Dale put his folks on six yellowfin tuna from below the Poorman’s Canyon and today it was the same spot and nine more fish.

Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures had Greg Williams and his crew out today and they put the smackdown on some nice triggerfish over ocean structure.

Rich Daiker had an awesome day of back bay flounder fishing today with some big fish going in the cooler. Rich used live bunker around the route 50 bridge and had his limit of four fish over 17.5″. The two largest were 27″ and 28.5″ and the largest weighed 8.2 pounds.

Day one of the OCMC Canyon Kick Off Tournament is in the books. Here is your leaderboard after one day of fishing.
