Good Flounder Bite Continues

we got some great news today about the federal waters fishery for black Seabass and Flounder Coming from NOAA and the department of commerce.  I won’t get into all of the details, but Seabass season will now start on May 1, it will be open until December 31, there will be a 12.5 inch size limit and there will be a creel limit of 15 fish per person.  Flounder regulations for Maryland will mirror state waters regulations with a minimum size of 16 inches through May 31, a minimum size of 17.5 inches from June 1 until December 31, a creel limit of four fish per person and a season that is open year-round.

Speaking of Flounder, Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break charters is having a fantastic spring! Today it was two more trips with multiple Flounder going in the box and this afternoon he even added some keeper tautog.
