Man, what a weekend! We just got back from passing out the big phony checks, and the real checks, for the 2nd Annual Flounder Royale and it was an awesome time! Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters is starting to see some nice sheepshead fishing in the OC Inlet for his anglers. Today it was two trips with some good fish to as big as 13 pounds.
Vaughn Hillegass caught this 22″ keeper flounder fishing the Assateague surf.
14-year-old Nicholas Fonseca caught and released this 39″ rockfish in the bay using squid strips for bait.
Nancy Holmes and the Cabana Girls finished in 2nd place in both the Marlins for Mason Tournament and the OCMC Heels & Reels Tournament this weekend releasing 9 white marlin on board the private boat Cabana with Captain Eddie Wheeler.
