148 Boats Fishing Leads To Big Changes On Day 4 of the White Marlin Open

There were 148 of 334 boats fishing day 4 of the 53rd Annual White Marlin Open and early on we saw a photo online of a white marlin that was coming to the scales aboard the Mister Pete.  Well, today, Mister Pete is not only celebrating his 30th wedding anniversary and his daughter’s wedding, he is now celebrating being in first place in the white marlin category of the White Marlin Open.  Mister Pete weighed in a beautiful 80 pound white marlin this afternoon and is currently looking at over $3.5 Million in prize money.  There was a big mahi weighed today and the first wahoo of the tournament so there was definitely some shakeup to the payouts on day 4.  Here’s who’s leading after 4 days of fishing.  Many thanks to the White Marlin Open for the pics!  Payouts are estimates from www.WhiteMarlinOpen.com
