It was a much quieter day today with the White Marlin Open in the books and charters and party boats getting back to regular business. We’ve got the Poor Girl’s Open starting this Thursday, and then the MidAtlantic the 17th through the 21st, but until then it’s going to be business as usual for most of the fleet.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported nice sea conditions today with good fishing for most. The sea bass were a little finicky, but the flounder bite more than made up for it.
Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run Charters had a nice day of ocean flounder fishing as well with nice keeper fish from both trips today.
Anglers fishing with Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star are having fun lately with sea bass, flounder and mahi coming over the rail.
