A Bit Sloppy, But the Bite Was Decent

A Bit Sloppy, But the Bite Was Decent

We had a little more wind than most would like today, but it was still fishable so fish they did.  The bay was a little murked up and the ocean was a little sloppy, but there were still some good fish caught in both spots.

Captain Chris Watkowski and mates Chase Porter and Kolton Sheeler had a decent day out in the deep today putting their anglers on three yellowfin tuna.

Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported a decent bite despite the sloppy ocean conditions.  Angler had some good sea bass up to 4.75 pounds.

Blake Gunther started his vacation days off right by putting a Deadly Tackle bottom/tog jig in the face of this big triggerfish.

Last night, Brian Reynolds had some big bluefish up to 33″ and a nice rockfish that was released at 34″.

Max, 5 and Huck, 6 caught a couple of keeper flounder in the east channel today on Gulp and minnows fishing with their dad Mike G.
