A Little Over Two Weeks Left of Sea Bass Season

A Little Over Two Weeks Left of Sea Bass Season

We’ve got just over two weeks left before MD black sea bass season closes on December 31 and there are still a few fish going home in coolers when the weather allows.  Ocean water temps have gotten cold quick so most of the fishing is being done in 180 or more feet of water a little further off the beach.  Hopefully we will get a couple of days of weather to be able to get out there and drop those rigs to the bottom over the next few weeks!

Anglers fishing on the Angler with Captain Chris Mizurak had some luck a couple of days ago.  The sea bass fishing wasn’t great, but some fish did come over the rail along with some bluefish and some flounder to as big as 29.5″.
