The wind starts blowing again tomorrow afternoon and looks to be real puffy until Saturday. Thankfully today was nice and calm and there was some very good fishing for some of the fleet.
Captain Dale Lisi and the crew of Foolish Pleasures had a nice day out in the canyon today putting a pile of mahi in the boat along with a 199 pound swordfish.
Captain Chris Watkowski and the crew of the Spring Mix II had an awesome day out in the cayon today as well putting a limit of mahi in the fish box.
Captain Kane Bounds and his crews fishing on board the Fish Bound have had some fishing that is “as good as it gets.” Flounder and sea bass limits are the regular for Fish Bound and they’ve also caught some stud tautog and sheepshead over the past few trips.
Captain Tony Battista and his anglers on Saltwater Adventures had a good day of ocean bottom fishing with sea bass, flounder and triggerfish.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported fishing was picky, but the quality was good with some nice sea bass and some flounder on today’s trip.
Blake Gunther and his boys used Deadly Tackle bottom jigs to catch some tautog in the OC Inlet today.
