It was a beautiful day on the beach today in Ocean City and even though it was rough as a cob offshore, some of the fleet was out there in the canyons on the tuna again.
Rhonda’s Osprey with Captain Joe Drosey fishing out of Sunset Marina had an awesome day in the canyons today. The crew of Rhonda’s Osprey combined for 15 yellowfin tuna from 35 to 55 pounds and two really nice gaffer mahi.
Captain Jeremy Blunt on board the Wrecker out of the Ocean City Fishing Center had a terrific day in the canyons today. Captain Jeremy put his crew on seven and 1/4 yellowfin tuna (one was eaten by a shark), seven nice mahi and two white marlin releases.
My buddy Austin Ensor took a trip on his Primary Search today out of Sunset Marina and smoked the yellowfin tuna offshore today! Austin, his brother Josh and his Dad left the marina at 4:00 AM this morning to take advantage of the early bite and were back in the slip by 11 AM. They only had lines in for an hour and caught their limit of nine yellowfin, they were bitten off by a wahoo and had a nice gaffer mahi. Awesome fishing!!
The Boss Hogg also fishing out of Sunset Marina had a good day fishing between the Washington and Norfolk Canyons. The Hogg caught a 203 pound bigeye tuna, seven yellowfin tuna and a couple of nice mahi.
