Kristen, Ryan and I drove through some pretty heavy rain on our way over the the western shore to watch the Redskins (Commanders) defeat the New York Giants 21-6!!! And we knew it was headed toward Ocean City to make things interesting for fishing. Thankfully there wasn’t much wind associated with the front so fishing was actually pretty good and the Bahia Marina Flounder Pounder went off without much trouble. There were some very nice fish caught. Congratulations to all of the winners!

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break had another great day in the OC inlet putting his anglers on bluefish, croaker, flounder and sheepshead up to a big 12.5 pounds.

Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had some fun with his crew today releasing some small sharks.

The crew of the private boat Instigator had a great overnight trip with a pile of mahi and a nice 149 pound swordfish.

Sully McCarthy submitted this photo of a beautiful sheepshead from the south jetty.
