It was another gorgeous September day today with sunny skies, warm temps and very, very light winds. It’s nice that the weather cooperated on the weekend so lots of folks could get out on the water and enjoy some late summer fishing.
Captain Alex Beane had Bobby and some of the crew from Hocker’s up in DE on the Boss Hogg today and they had a great day releasing five white marlin.
Captain Shawn Gibson and the crew of Wound Tight had a nice day on the ocean today with two white marlin releases and some mahi for tacos.
The crew of the private boat Instigator out of Sunset Marina had another awesome overnight trip up north that resulted in longfin and yellowfin tuna and a nice pile of mahi.
Captain Dale Lisi and the crew of Foolish Pleasures has been doing well this week with plenty of tilefish and mahi for happy anglers.
 
Anglers fishing on board Chasin’ Tides with Captain Chase Eberle had good luck with flounder and sea bass on today’s trip to ocean structure.
 
Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run found this 7 pound flounder for himself today.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break had yet another great day in the OC inlet with sheepshead and keeper flounder for his groups.
 
Richard Crosariol found this 21” keeper flounder in the OC inlet using live spot.
