Beautiful fall day today in and around Ocean City with cool temps, sunny skies and little wind to talk about. It was a nice day to be outside in general, or even better, on the water fishing.
Fall is the time of year in Ocean City that we can see some very nice flounder from the back bays and this fall is not disappointing so far. Bud Heim caught several very nice fish in the east channel and near the Coast Guard station on white bucktails and Gulp. Bud and his fishing partner had fish of 17″, 18″, 18″, 19″, 22″ and a big 24″ that was well over 5 pounds.
Down at the Oceanic Pier, Woody caught a nice 23″, 4.91 pound flounder and James caught a 19″ keeper.
Yesterday, Brian Reynolds had a great day in the bay catching 7 sheepshead and a nice black drum.
Geoff Charvat reported this nice 19.5″ flounder that was caught on a RumbleFish loaded tube.
