The 25th anniversary of the MidAtlantic was one for the record books. 157 boats fished out of the Canyon Club in Cape May, NJ and out of Sunset Marina in Ocean City, MD and there was over $3 Million dollars in prize money. It was an exciting week of fishing that started with a 67 pound tuna on Monday that would win over $50,000 and end with a 754 pound blue marlin on Friday that would bring in over $531,000. We had a great time covering the event with Hooked on OC and made nightly video updates. You can check them out here…

Outside of the tournament there was some pretty good inshore action Friday. Captain John Prather used plastic artificial to capture a load of bluefish for his crew in the back bay and inlet.
Bear at the Oceanic Pier submitted this photo of Chrissy from Hatfield, PA who caught this nice 20″ black drum from the north sea wall on a sand flea.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had some great shooting on Friday in the south bay. His shooters had great luck with cow-nosed and southern rays.
