Big Bluefish and Rock From the Jetty

Big Bluefish and Rock From the Jetty

It was a beautiful day out there today with very light winds, sunny then cloudy skies and temps that warmed up nicely by early afternoon.   I would have loved to go fishing, but instead the team and I delivered rigs to almost every shop in the area so that we can go on vacation tomorrow.  It was well worth it.

On my way home I got a text from my good buddy Big Bird Cropper with some photos of our mutual friend Shawn Flaherty who had paddled his kayak over the south jetty to throw some Roy Rigs.  Shawn had a great day over there with rockfish releases 40″ and 42″ and a big bluefish of  33″.  All of them caught on Roy Rigs.

Henry Seal caught and released this nice 36″ rockfish from the route 50 bridge last night.
