It was a windy one out there today with winds out of the SW from 15-20 knots, but it was sunny and warm so things were jumping on land. There were a few boats that braved the wind and were lucky enough to get on some tautog in the ocean and in the OC inlet.
Yesterday, Eamon “Irish” Carey was fishing with Captain Kane Bounds on board the Fish Bound when he caught and then released this big 14 pound tautog.
Captain Will Poole of Local Hooker Too had his first trip of the season in the back bay today and it was a productive one. Captain Will put his crew on a bunch of throwback tautog with one keeper in the OC Inlet.
