Away from the tournament there was some good fishing as well. Captain Dale Lisi of Foolish Pleasures had a nice day in the Washington Canyon putting his crew on six nice yellowfin tuna.
The crew of the private boat Insigator out of Sunset Marina had another overnight tuna smackdown putting 19 fat yellowfin in the box along with 3 mahi to 18 pounds.
Anglers fishing with Mobsquad Fishing and Captain Nick Sampson had a nice 10 hour trip that yielded a tuna and some blueline tilefish.
Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures had two good trips today that supplied fillets for Lake Crisco. This morning it was a bunch of triggerfish and this morning it was two keeper flounder of 20.5″ and 22″.
These two keeper flounder landed in the net of the Lucky Break with Captain Jason Mumford at the helm.
Rich Daiker and Will Schindler had a great day of flounder fishing with six keepers to 20.5″ on bunker at the route 50 bridge.
