It was certainly another hot one today, but the winds were light so there was some good ocean fishing. Let’s get it!
Captain Mike Burt and the crew of Pumpin’ Hard had a very nice day offshore today with yellowfin tuna and their first bigeye of the season.

The crew of Spring Mix II with Captain Chris Watkowski had a make-up trip today that ended with two big yellowfin tuna of 71 and 98 pounds.

Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported a tough sea bass bite today, but they did see some decent flounder fishing with fish up to 6 pounds.

Captain Kane Bounds of the Fish Bound has seen some good fishing this week. The 17.5″ size limit on flounder is making it more difficult to catch boat limits, but he’s still getting close on most trips.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had a nice day on the south bay today with some big southern and cow nosed rays for his shooters.

Madison Warfield caught this nice 20″, 3 pound flounder fishing behind Assateague yesterday with Brian Will.
Rich Daiker had to weed through a bunch of shorts, but he did manage this nice 29” keeper rockfish on a Roy Rig at the south jetty.
