Temperatures were a little bit more seasonal today and there was some good fishing for boats that ventured out.
Blake Gunther and Derrick Yobst used Deadly Tackle tog jigs to catch a bunch of fish today. The guys caught a pile of tog,, a red drum and Blake also released a surprise black drum that was estimated over 50 pounds on a 3 ounce jig.
The crew fishing on board Foolish Pleasures with Captain Dale Lisi had a great day of tuna fishing outside the African queen wreck today. Captain Dale put his crew on a limit of bluefins up to 152 pounds.
Captain Dave Caffrey took a crew aboard On the Run to the African Queen today where they caught this 62”, 110 pound bluefin tuna.
Big Bird Cropper, Shaun Flaherty and Shaun’s longtime friend Chris had a great time throwing Roy rigs at the Route 50 bridge. They put a bunch of bluefish and two keeper rockfish in the boat.
