We have had a couple of pretty crappy days in Ocean City this week. The wind has been blowing pretty hard for a week straight and anglers have had to dodge thunderstorms and rain drops for the past few days. There are still plenty of big bluefish in the bay and flounder fishing is still pretty good so anglers have been braving the elements to wet a line.
Suzana Martin with her largest rockfish of the season caught in Solomons, MD on board the Marli with Captain Mark Hoos and mate Mark Stephens.
Amanda Estep submitted this photo of Scott Roher who caught this nice 34″ bluefish on a mullet rig in Massey’s ditch.
Anthony Anello caught this big 38″, 16.9 pound bluefish during a nice weather window yesterday.
John Johnson sent in a couple of shots of some nice fish that he caught this week. John caught a 33″ bluefish in the surf on the north end of Assateague Island and a big 43″ Chesapeake rockfish in the Calvert Cliffs area of the bay.
