Bridge Report

By Scott Lenox

Fishing at the route 50 bridge is heating up as the water temperatures slowly cool into the lower 60s.  There are still a few flounder around, and the tautog, bluefish and rockfish numbers are growing as the water temperatures fall.

Nick Denny had a good trip fishing the route 50 bridge today.  Nick reported only fishing the bridge for an hour this evening, but that was plenty of time to catch between 15-20 bluefish (stopped counting after 10) and one 24″ rockfish.  Nick caught and released all of his fish on white jig heads tipped with white Gulp.
