Bundling Up For Some Flounder

Bundling Up For Some Flounder

It was nice and sunny out there today and it was pretty warm in the sun, but the wind was blowing hard out of the east which had it chilly and rough on the water.  The back bays are clean right now, and there are some flounder around so folks bundled up and got out to catch some fish.

Chris Tilghman and Danny Oliver have caught some keeper fish over the past couple of days.  Yesterday it was two keepers from the Thorofare and today it was four keepers from behind Assateague Island.

Jay Phillips, Earl Conley and crew headed down to Folley Creek today where they worked hard and put four keeper flounder in the cooler.

Ashley Mullen used a pink Deadly Double and a pink Gulp to land this 16.5″ keeper flounder from behind Assateague Island.

Doug Ruth found a couple of keeper flounder behind Assateague Island today too putting these two fish on ice.

Captain Chase Eberle and his crew on Chasin’ Tides Charters had a good day with the tautog lining up the cleaning table with some nice keepers.
