The offshore fishing was closed for the day today with high winds and heavy seas. Some boats even cancelled yesterday because the wind had already started blowing and was forecast to blow the same direction all last night into today. The wind did blow all last night and today so the offshore fleet used it as a day to prepare for the Captain Steve Harman’s Poor Girls Open which starts tomorrow.
The Morning Star with Captain Monty Hawkins and mates Dan Iacangelo and “Tank” had a good day of floundering on the rip today. Captain Monty put his anglers on some good flounder action with fish up to an estimated six pounds.
Captain Monty will be running a special for this Sunday’s trip. Buy two tickets at his regular rate of $110 and receive a third FREE! This is a great deal to get on one of the top party boats in the area during some good flounder fishing. Call 410-520-2076 to get on board or check out Captain Monty’s Fish Report to get more details. MORNING STAR FISH REPORT
