It has been an absolutely beautiful 4th of July so far with HOT temperatures, sunny skies and little to no wind to speak of. Kristen and I went for a boat ride to check out the bay and had a nice stop at Harborside Bar & Grill for a quick lunch and a drink with our buddy Dave Messick of Unscene Productions. It was an awesome afternoon on the water. Check out the vid to see how busy it was in a couple of days.
Today was day 2 of the Ocean City Marlin Club Canyon Kick Off Tournament and it was a busy day at the scales at Fisherman’s Marina. Here is your leaderboard after two days of fishing. Thanks to Dave Messick from Hooked on OC for the pics!
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a great start to the 4th of July when he put this angler on a very nice bigeye tuna in the canyon. Then this afternoon it was some keeper flounder for another group in the back bay.
Captain Will Poole of Local Hooker Fishing Charters found these keeper flounder for his anglers along with a bunch of throwback sized fish.
