We had a little breeze pickup this afternoon, but otherwise it was sunny and beautiful. There were several boats out on the bay enjoying the nice clean water, and flounder fishermen were rewarded with some decent fishing.
I hit the bay with my buddy Bryan Mindte of Sunset Provisions today and we had a lot of fun with the flounder. We caught 12 or so throwbacks and Bryan caught a nice 21″ fish that went in the cooler…..but we forgot to take a pic.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters had an afternoon trip today and he put his anglers on the meat with three keeper flounder and tautog.
Mikey Johnston and Kai used Gulp pink shine in the Thorofare to put four nice keepers in the fish box up to 21″.
