It was a pretty windy one out there today with strong winds out of the north at 15+ knots. That north wind brought some chill to the air too with temps not gettin out of the 50s in most places around the area. The good news…..fishing has still been great for those that are going.
Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run Charters is putting his new Deadly Tackle spinning rods to work and his anglers are putting fish in the boat with them. Today it was four keeper flounder from 19″ to 21″, a keeper tautog and a slot red drum for the cooler.

Last night Ryan Ellerman lucked into another 30″ slot keeper rockfish and Mr. Leo had a very nice bluefish from the route 50 bridge.
