We only had one boat go into the ocean that stayed and fished the entire day for day 2 of the 2023 Poor Girls Open and when they returned they said it was rough…..like hold on rough. The Southern C’s fished some heavy seas today and released one white marlin that didn’t land on the leaderboard, but did get them a round of applause at Bahia Marina and Fish Tales. If there was a perseverance award they would be in the lead in the category, but there ain’t so here’s who’s leading the other categories after two days of fishing. Tomorrow should be a busy day at the scales with 80 boats left to fish. I’ll see you there starting at 4 PM!
