We had just a cloudy day before the rain moved into the area at around 2:00 PM. Before that it was overcast, warm and there wasn’t much wind to speak of. It was a very decent day to get out for some fishing.
Rich Daiker and 13-year-old Reece Schindler had a great day in the Thorofare catching seven keeper flounder. The guys used Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles with strip baits on the outgoing tide.
Jordan Helsel and Cody B. worked the upper back bay where Jordan landed a nice bluefish and then the guys hit the south jetty and landed some tautog.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides had a nice day yesterday with some more quality tautog coming over the rail.
