We are certainly experiencing some awesome fall weather right now. We had another beautiful day with light winds, sunny skies and warm fall temperatures, and anglers were out again taking advantage of the awesome fall fishing that is going along with it. The forecast is calling for the beautiful conditions to continue for the next several days so I’ve got to try and get out on these flounder myself.
Austin Ensor and the boys on Primary Search left late last night to take advantage of the early bite out in the canyons and were rewarded with some great fishing. Austin and his crew boxed 11 yellowfin tuna out of 14 bites.

Captain John Prather of Ocean City Guide Service was on the bay today and had another good day with the flounder. Captain John used white Gulp baits north of the route 50 bridge to put his crew on four keepers.

Captain Jeff Coats of Pitboss Fishing fished the south bay behind Assateague Island and though they didn’t catch any keepers, his crew of youngsters caught some throwback flounder, sea bass and rockfish.

Bear at the Oceanic Pier submitted several photos of Amber Smoker who is a regular at the pier. Amber is being referred to as “the red-haired girl that catches all the tog”. These photos should make it obvious why.
