Finally Getting Back To Fishing

Finally Getting Back To Fishing

Man, we have had some windy weather to start off 2024!  Anglers are down to just stripers and tautog to fish for in the area, but neither has been accessible for quite a while thanks to the windy weather.  It is winter though, so we’ll take what we can get.

Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides was out in today’s windy weather, but he managed a nice day for his tautog charter.  The group had some nice fish with the two biggest at 9.5 pounds and 15.5 pounds.  The larger being caught by Alex Cortizo.

Captain Kane Bounds and his crew on Fish Bound has been limited by the weather so far in 2024 as well, but they’ve seen some decent fishing when they can get out.  Captain Kane has seen some good fish come over the rail with four fish over 10 pounds being caught and released.
