First Trip of The Season For The Ocean Princess

First Trip of The Season For The Ocean Princess

We had a much welcomed break in the weather today with decent temperatures, no wind and just a few passing rain showers.  There was a 3′ – 5′ swell out on the ocean, but it was very fishable, and it gave boats that have been chomping at the bit an opportunity to do some fishing.

The Ocean Princess out of Dorchester Street in downtown Ocean City took their first trip of the season today and had some good luck.  The recently overhauled engine ran great and they had steady action with tautog and sea bass.  The sea bass all went back with the season being closed, but there were several keeper tog that went home with happy customers for dinner.
