It was a foggy, chilly day on the coast, but that didn’t stop folks from getting out there and doing some fishing. There was a really good bite for black drum on Assateague Island today, there were some tog caught in the ocean and flounder fishing was good again in the bay despite the conditions. Thanks to everyone that came out to my flounder seminar today, and thanks to Lang and the gang at Buck’s for hosting us and putting out some awesome food! Good luck out there with the flounder!
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a nice day of tautog fishing over ocean structure even though it was super foggy out there. Several nice fish ended up in the net and the cooler.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters said it was chilly out there today, but the flounder still bit pretty good for him and his anglers. There were two keepers on this morning’s trip and five more this afternoon.
Jeff Dunlap trolled up this nice 21.5″ flounder behind Assateague Island.
This is super cool! Daniel Eustice caught two keeper flounder of 16.5″ and 17.5″ at the same time on the Deadly Tackle Deadly Double in white.
