It was a little windy today, but otherwise it was gorgeous! Sunny and warm with zero precipitation it truly felt like spring is finally springing. Kristen and I took a little boat ride to fuel up, and we saw a bunch of boats fishing and riding around enjoying the weather. We saw some nice fish along the way too, and got some good reports from today’s fishing.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had another nice day of togging over ocean structure today with several more fish for his anglers.
Erin Cowder was fishing with her husband Ryan behind Assateague Island when she landed her first keeper flounder of the season on the Deadly Tackle Deadly Double in chartreuse. The fat flattie was 20″.
Owen West fished the Thorofare today with Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles and had there keeper flounder to just over 17″.
90-Something years young John McFalls of the ACSA caught this nice 20″ flounder in the bay today.
Bryan Athey, Brian Smith, Brian Mills, Zach Handy and Caleb Handy caught four keeper flounder behind Assateague Island on hand tied rigs with live minnows.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had a productive night of shooting for his guys last night putting them on some quality snakeheads and some big blue catfish.
