Flounder in the Wind and Cold

By Scott Lenox

Flounder in the Wind and Cold

We had a cool, windy day today with temps not getting out of the 60s and winds blowing pretty stiff off the ocean for most of the day.  By this afternoon it was down right cold.  We’ve got some more wind and even some rain coming for the next couple of days so it looks like there won’t be a ton of fishing going on for most.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters is a die hard fisherman and his clients can be too.  Today, Captain Jason had this hearty angler on the south bay where he had a total of six flounder with two nice keepers going in the box.

Stripers are biting at Route 90….check it out!
