Flounder in the Wind

Flounder in the Wind

We had some wind to contend with today, and some cool temperatures, but other than that it was pretty sunny and very fishable.  Tomorrow?  Not so much.  Wind and rain move into the area and tomorrow and Thursday are forecast to be pretty nasty.  Hopefully it’s short-lived because fishing has been very good.

Haley and Samantha Whitehead fished with their Dad Lloyd of Harborside Bar and Grill and had a good time catching some flounder behind Assateague Island.  The girls caught two keepers on Deadly Doubles and Lloyd dropped another keeper overboard while he was measuring it.  He reported that he won’t live that down anytime soon.  Not sure if I was supposed to put it in the report.

Lamont Hilbert fished his boat Sea Bum this afternoon and had some luck with the flounder behind Assateague Island.

Corey caught and released some stripers at the Route 50 bridge while casting Roy Rigs.
