It wasn’t gorgeous out today, but it was pretty dern close. Warm temps and light winds made the little bit of cloud cover more than tolerable and folks were out on the water enjoying it. The tog bite picked back up, there were a few more flounder caught and some very nice bluefish showed up in the OC Inlet.
Jeff Weeks and Dave Weller had an awesome morning at the jetty and route 50 bridge today. The guys teamed up to catch three keeper tog up to 17 3/4″ and three nice bluefish to a big 32 1/8″.
Nick Serio fished behind Assateague Island with no luck and then moved up to the Thorofare where he landed this nice keeper flounder that was over 18″ on the Deadly Tackle Deadly Double in orange with a chartreuse Gulp.
Josh Schafer was fishing down Chincoteague, VA way and had some luck putting a couple of keeper flounder in the cooler. These two keepers of 17 1/2″ and 18″ ate Deadly Tackle Deadly Double’s in chartreuse.
Lamont Hilbert got a good photo of this very nice 20″ flounder that ate a Gulp on a jig behind Assateague Island today.
