I got to spend the afternoon on the bay with my beautiful wife Kristen today doing a little flounder fishing and it was very, very nice. No keepers for us today with that 17.5″ minimum size, but we had fun catching a bunch of throwbacks enjoying the weather.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported a mixed bag of fish today with some decent catches around the rail. The biggest sea bass of the day went 3.5 pounds and the biggest flounder went 4 pounds.
This angler lucked into a keeper flounder on board the Calico Jack.
Brian Reynolds and Taylor Bakke had a great weekend fishing the Blues for D.U. Bluefish Tournament where they finished in 2nd place. The guys had a great time with stripers over the weekend too.
