It was another nice day today with light winds and warmish temperatures, and more anglers had an opportunity to get out on the water and bend a rod. I was at the Ocean City Boat Show today with the Hooked on OC booth and will be again tomorrow and Sunday. We’re selling the new Hooked on OC tee shirts so if you’d like one….or just want to talk fishing, stop by and say Hi!
It was nice enough today for some more angling at the route 90 bridge where Captain Jeff Coats of Pitboss Fishing found some rockfish yesterday while casting Roy Rigs. Today Captain Jeff got a good shot of Ryan Willis who went 17 for 19 bites on rockfish while casting shad bodies from his kayak. The largest fish was a nice one at 26″.
Like any good husband that got permission from his wife to go fishing yesterday Captain Jeff of Pitboss Fishing took his bride Karen out for some casting today. Captain Jeff was able to put Karen on some nice throwback rockfish action at the route 90 bridge while casting Roy Rigs.
Captain John Prather of Ocean City Guide Service guided his wife Amanda for a birthday fishing trip on the Pocomoke River this afternoon. Captain John and Amanda only fished an hour or so and had good luck with largemouth bass, yellow perch and catfish. Happy Birthday to Amanda and congratulations on a nice trip to the river!
