We’ve got some pretty nasty weather moving through the area right now as the remnants of Hurricane Helena move by to our west, but earlier today the wind was light and the fishing was good for some. The rain moves out of the area by tomorrow morning and Sunday looks pretty awesome so get out there and catch something!
Captain Chris Watkowski of the Spring Mix II had another good day of fishing today. He showed his anglers a great time catching a box full of mahi and six very nice yellowfin tuna.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin Tides Charters had a great day for his anglers putting them on a limit of sea bass, a limit of blueline tilefish, a couple of golden tilefish, 25 mahi and a swordfish that was released.
Angler fishing on Wound Tight with Captain Shawn Gibson had a great time fishing ocean structure out of Ocean City when they caught and released these nice red drum.
Jeff Weeks and Dave Weller used sand fleas to catch seven sheepshead in the OC Inlet, two of which were over 20″.
Capitan Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported having to weed through the shorts, but by the end of the day he had a nice catch of sea bass and some keeper flounder for his folks.
Andrew Gerner had a productive trip to the 30 fathom line that resulted in some tasty mahi fillets.
