It was another day of beautiful, flat calm seas out there today, but that’s all going to change this weekend. We’ve got a stiff northeast wind heading into the area Friday night that will last through the weekend and mess up the ocean for a couple of days. The forecast is so bad that we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the 1st Annual Flounder Royale tournament until next weekend August 9 and 10. We will have in person registration at Bahia Marina this Friday from 4 pm until 7 pm as scheduled, and then we’ll have final registration next Friday, August 8 from 4 until 7 again. Fishing days will now be Saturday and Sunday the 9th and 10th.
Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run has been on a run with some good fishing over his last several trips. Captain Dave has put his anglers on triggerfish, flounder up to 5 pounds and sheepshead up to 8 pounds while fishing over ocean structure.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break had some great trips today as well with some triggerfish, some flounder and some croaker up to a whopping 15″.

Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures had a nice day with the sea bass putting some solid keepers in the cooler.

Anglers fishing on board MobSquad Fishing had some luck today with several very nice blueline and golden tilefish going in the fish box.
