It was another day of beautiful weather today with a good sea bass bite in the ocean and the first cobra that I’ve seen so far this season.
Corey Glover was down fishing the Assateague surf with David Moore when he caught this small cobia, the first that I’ve seen this season.

Captain Chase Eberle and the crew of Chasin’ Tides Charters has been on a roll lately with tons of fish being pulled to the rail. Anglers are catching flounder, sea bass, sand tiger sharks, ribbonfish, bluefish and some limits of 30 blue line tilefish and 42 golden tilefish.

Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported good fishing today with plenty of keeper sea bass going home in coolers.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing did a little flounder fishing yesterday with loads of throwbacks and this 17.5″ keeper. Today it was good shooting in the south bay for his crew.

Anglers fishing on the Tortuga out of Bahia Marina had plenty of throwbacks and these two keepers for Lake Crisco.

Happy 19th Birthday to my “nephew” Josh Blume who caught this nice 29″ rockfish to celebrate is big day.

Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star had the ladies showing everyone how to fish on board today with a nice load of big sea bass coming over the rail.
